James H. Whiting Auditorium is a 2,043-seat auditorium located in Flint, Michigan . It is part of the Flint Cultural Center campus. It is home to the Flint Symphony Orchestra . The auditorium features a 35.5'-by-55' stage. 1,119 of the auditorium's seats are on the orchestra level -- 150 of them on the orchestra pit lift. Of the remaining seats, 332 are on the mezzanine, and 308 on the lower balcony, 156 the middle balcony and 128 on the right balcony. It is also used for Broadway -style touring shows, Concerts and other events. In 2005 , Whiting Auditorium officially changed its name to The Whiting. EXTERNAL LINKS |
