The Rev (born '''''James Owen Sullivan''''' February 10 1981 , short for '''The Reverend Tholomew Plague''') is the Drummer for Avenged Sevenfold . The Rev and A7X lead singer M. Shadows attended a Catholic school. He also has a side project with A7X guitarist Synyster Gates and members from surf-punk band Ballistico , called Pinkly Smooth , in which he surprisingly does lead vocals, not drums. His stage name in this band is Rat Head. He was formerly the drummer for third-wave ska band Suburban Legends . The Rev says he is addicted to tattoos and has many all over his body, but says his favourite is the one that reads "FICTION" going down his chest because he says ''"My life is kinda like a story if I ever told someone about it, they wouldnt believe it. It would seem fictional and thats me." |
