With Colin's hunerous style, blended with his strong opinions, his show makes for a fun and fast paced look into topical issues in the sports world and beyond, which is very similar to Kornheiser's type of show. Colin has recently been critcized for lifting content off a website. Colin then labeled the creators "whiners" and claimed they would never get credit. Credit was given after pressure from his bosses and the sports radio community. Colin considers himself a college football and NFL Draft expert and when Mel Kiper Jr. is joins by Colin every week, it can get ugly. Like Kiper, Cowherd also has his own ''Big Board'' of the top 20 propects in the NFL Draft on his ESPN Radio show page. The '' ESPN Radio SportsCenter '' for most of the show is Dan Davis , who has been apart of the ESPN Radio family since it began. Cowherd may be controversial but he is also talented enough to earn the praise of some of the most respected voices in sports commentary. On December 19 2005 , ''SportsIllustrated.com named Cowherd'' ''Personality of the Year.'' Cowherd was lauded by columnist '' Richard Deitch '' for providing "an engaging mix of entertainment, information, and reportage . . . Cowherd has distinguished himself by refusing to rely on angry ranting and the sexual innuendo that so often permeates local radio." The majority of sports-talk radio listeners obviously agree, judging from the show's massive ratings. Colin may come off as a little arrogant and even patronizing at times, but not many can argue that his opinions lack intelligent reasoning. Overall, most consider it an upgrade from The Tony Kornheiser Show, which is no small statement, considering the popularity of his show. SEGMENTS
