The package, originally known as ''CBS Enforcer'', was commissioned by Chicago 's WBBM-TV in 1994 . The package is based on the station's 1975 news theme, which in turn was based on a song called "I Love Chicago, Chicago My Home". WBBM has dropped the package twice (once in 1997 and once in 2001 ), only to reintroduce it a few years after each attempt. Gari Communications soon renamed the package ''Enforcer'' (and later, ''The Enforcer'') in an attempt to market it to non- CBS stations. A few non-CBS stations did start using the package, such as KRIV / Fox 26 in Houston and WVIT / NBC 30 in Connecticut . In 2005 , Gari Communications acquired the rights to several music suites by composer John Hegner , including ''News in Focus'', a news theme package by which also featured the "I Love Chicago" signature. Since then, ''News in Focus'' has been marketed jointly with ''The Enforcer'' as ''the CBS Enforcer Music Collection''. SEE ALSO
