Shilo () '''Šîlô''') is an Israeli Settlement in Samaria (Northern West Bank ), located 28 miles (45 km) north of Jerusalem along Route #60. Founded in January 1978 , the Yishuv overlooks the ancient Biblical Site and belongs administratively to the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council . Today, over 200 families live in the town.
