TS-MA2 Moebius The TS-MA2 Moebius is a Mobile Armor , a heavy space fighter with tough armor. The Moebius is swift and powerful, but it becomes terribly obsolete when the ZGMF-1017 GINN is introduced by ZAFT, with at least five Moebius mobile armors required to take down a single GINN on average. Until the introduction of Natural -pilotable Mobile Suits , the Moebius is the backbone of the Earth Alliance forces, despite its general inadequacy in combat against enemy Mobile Suits . The Moebius is phased out of frontline use by late June, CE 71, replaced by the GAT-01 Strike Dagger . In November, at the Second Battle Of Jachin Due , several squadrons are launched from the Earth Alliance 's ''Agamemnon''-class Carriers for use as nuclear weapons delivery platforms. Most of the Moebius units are destroyed during the battle, along with the majority of the Alliance's Strike Dagger forces. TS-MA2mod.00 Moebius Zero The TS-MA2mod.00 Moebius Zero is a high-powered commander-type variation produced in limited quantities during the Bloody Valentine War . Only a few highly-talented mobile armor pilots, like Lt. Mu La Flaga , can successfully pilot this mobile armor because of the difficulty of simultaneously controlling its four wire-guided gunbarrels. As a result, the production model mobile armor TS-MA2 Moebius was given a more conventional armament, with missiles instead of the gunbarrel pods. The Moebius Zero pilots were assembled into a single elite corps in the 3rd Fleet, but Lt. Flaga was the only member to survive the Battle Of Endymion on June 2, CE 70. AQM/E-X04 Gunbarrel Striker The AQM/E-X04 Gunbarrel Striker is based on the Moebius Zero, but with an improved Gunbarrel sporting a beam cannon and two missiles instead of the Zero's two ballistic cannons. The Gunbarrel Striker can operate either as an independent unit or as a Striker Pack for the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam or GAT-01A1 105 Dagger . Very few Gunbarrel Strikers are produced, with at least two of them used by GAT-01A1 105 Dagger ace Morgan Chevalier . In CE 73, a single unit of a similar but much more advanced design, the TS-MA4F Exass , is deployed. The legacy of mass-produced Mobile Armors in O.M.N.I. is long from over with the introduction of the TS-MB1B Euclid during later half of the Second Bloody Valentine War.
