''TNA Xplosion'' is a Syndicated Television Program produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling , featuring both highlights from '' TNA IMPACT! '' and exclusive taped matches. The format of the show is similar to that of World Wrestling Entertainment shows '' WWE Sunday Night Heat '' and '' WWE Velocity ''. ''Xplosion'' was launched on November 27 , 2002 and featured exclusive matches until November 18 , 2004 , when the show became strictly a recap show of the previous week's ''iMPACT!''. However, ''Xplosion'' began airing exclusive matches (billed as "Xplosion Xclusives") once more on October 7 , 2005 in addition to recapping the previous week's ''iMPACT!''. Many of the matches seen on Xplosion are taped weeks ahead of time along with ''iMPACT!''. Matches normally feature lower- to midcarders who rarely appear on ''iMPACT!''. Regular competitors on the show include The Naturals , The Diamonds In The Rough , Shark Boy , Cassidy Riley , Lance Hoyt and Matt Bentley . However, on the February 11 , 2006 episode of ''Xplosion'', New Japan Pro Wrestling employee Hiroshi Tanahashi made a special appearance on the show following his match with A.J. Styles at the January 15 , 2006 '' TNA Final Resolution 2006 '' Pay-per-view , wrestling Roderick Strong . In addition, wrestlers may make their debut on ''Xplosion'', and Angles such as Matt Bentley's Heel Turn have taken place on ''Xplosion''. As of April 2005 , the hosts of the show are former ring announcer Jeremy Borash and '' Survivor '' contestant Johnny Fairplay . ''Xplosion'' airs on the Sun Sports channel in the United States , on The Fight Network in Canada and on The Wrestling Channel in the United Kingdom and Ireland . RESULTS
