Swanley Station is 17.4 miles from London Victoria. There is a 17.5 mile milepost a short distance coastbound from the station. The original name was Sevenoaks Junction, later changed to Swanley Junction. The original location of the station was at on the " Down " side of the junction with separate platforms for the main line and the Sevenoaks branch.
