Sutton () is a residential Suburb of Dublin , Ireland . It is located about 12 Kilometre s from the city centre at the base of the Howth peninsula. At the centre of Sutton is a Tombolo which connects Howth to the mainland (Howth used to be an island). Sutton is surrounded by many Beach es and is a popular place for Golf and Dinghy Sailing .
