Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah is Selangor's state mosque. It is located in Shah Alam , Selangor . It is the biggest mosque in Malaysia and also the second biggest mosque in Southeast Asia after Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta , Indonesia . HISTORY It was constructed between 1982 and 1987 . ARCHITECTURE Its architecture is a combination of Malay and Modernist style. FEATURES The main dome of the mosque is the biggest dome in Malaysia . The four minarets are the second tallest in the world after the minaret of King Hassan II Mosque in Morocco . |
