is an acronym for Shahjalal University Of Science And Technology . It is one of the premier institutions of higher education in Bangladesh . Established in 1987, it is located in Sylhet , a northeastern district in Bangladesh . However, the university starts its education programme from 14th February 1991 with three departments, Physics , Chemistry and Economics .
SUST is more famous for its quality engineering education. It offers diverse subjects in engineering that range from Tea Technology to Computer Engineering .
