In the beginning of the game, her apprentice Bianca steals 150 dragon eggs from the dragons on the other side of the world. The only dragon that can get through her rabbit tunnel is Spyro. Spyro has to battle the Sorceress for the dragon eggs. Sparx The Dragonfly , Hunter The Cheetah , Sheila The Kangaroo , Sgt. Byrd , Bentley The Yeti , and Agent 9 assist him. During this time, Bianca falls in love with Hunter and becomes a valuable ally against the Sorceress, though her former queen is very powerful. According to the game, the Sorceress is thousands of years old and knows all the magical spells in the world. She relies on magic to keep her alive and when she banished the dragons from her side of the world 1,000 years ago, the magic started to fade. Now it's almost gone and she plans to use the dragon eggs to restore the fading magic to her realm. She would then kill all the dragons, and use their wings to cast a spell that will keep her alive forever. Spyro battles her, but she escapes and uses a UFO to attack him. Spyro fought her until she was finally defeated. The Sorceress ruled half the world until she was dethroned. TRIVIA
