Information About

Snow Hill Station (london)

The station was adjacent to the LC&DR's terminus at Holborn Viaduct Station and was renamed Holborn Viaduct Low Level in 1912 but was closed on 1 June 1916 when passenger services through the tunnel were discontinued. When in operation, the stations on each side were Farringdon to the north and Ludgate Hill to the south.

The site is just north of City Thameslink station which opened 1988 when the tunnel was brought back into service. Nothing remains of the station on the surface.
