THINGS TO DO IN SHOTTERY There is very little else to do or see in Shottery, other than Anne Hathaway's Cottage . There is one pub (The Bell Inn) located opposite the Santa Lucia Italian restaurant. There is one secondary school, Shottery Girls Grammar , and one primary school that has been open since the mid 1800's. It is threatened with closure every few years however has always managed to stay open. There was a village shop that closed after many years in 2002 due to the forced closure of the Post Office section. The local park, Shottery Fields, is comprised of 2 football pitches and 1 rugby pitch as well as a more modern 800m sprint track.
