Shlaer-Mellor is an Object-oriented Analysis (OOA), Design and modelling method that addresses the integration of Structural and Behavioural properties. It also allows an Animation of the design. The method is named after its originators Sally Shlaer (often misspelled "Schlaer") and Stephen Mellor . I-OOA is a tool that supports the Shlaer-Mellor Design Method. The Shlaer-Mellor method has been largely supplanted by " Executable UML " which adopts much the same approach but uses the industry standard UML formalism. SEE ALSO |
