Digimon 02 series. He is the DNA Digivolved form of
Ankylomon and
Angemon . This Digimon combines the features and attributes of Armored and Holy-type Digimon. He is modeled after the ''
Shakoukidoguu '', an ancient Japanese clay figure from the
Jomon era known for being suspiciously alien in appearance.
His neck and torso can turn a full 360 degrees, making it possible for Shakkoumon to attack in all directions.
He was first formed when the
DigiDestined were about to battle
BlackWarGreymon to protect the last Destiny Stone. Both
Cody and
T.K. knew they could not let the artificial Digimon destroy everyone, despite his reasons. At that moment, both their hearts were beating as one, causing their Digimon partners to merge. Shakkoumon managed to help
Paildramon and
Silphymon team up on BlackWarGreymon but he managed to systematically take them down.
Shakkoumon later appeared on Christmas Eve when Digimon began to appear in Tokyo. Then, on the night of December 26, Shakkoumon was forced to kill
MarineDevimon of the Daemon Corps when he tried to destroy a hospital with Cody in it. Shakkoumon was involved in the final battle with
MaloMyotismon .
