Sayoko Mishima (三嶋 沙夜子 ''Mishima Sayoko'') is a character in the Anime / Manga series '' Oh My Goddess! ''. BIOGRAPHY Sayoko is a rich and popular girl at Keiichi's school. When Belldandy appears she gets all of the attentions of the guys, instead of Sayoko. Mishima begins to get jealous of Belldandy and wants to make her upset by seducing Keiichi, even though she (supposedly) does not have any interest in him. (Later on in the manga you learn she does start developing feelings for Keiichi.) Also, Sayoko doesn't have any real friends, she hangs around with her cousin Aoshima or sometimes with the guys from the motor club. PERSONALITY Aside from her obvious narcissism, Sayako is quite the carefree sort, and pretty much does as she pleases, regardless of what others may think of her actions. She's young and attractive enough to get away with quite a bit, but most people treat her merely as a nuisance and not really a friend . However, for all her carefree manner, Sayako seems to have a fear of being alone, or more likely, being left without attention. When she loses track of her countless suitors, she becomes quite frantic, and makes the goal of upstanding Belldandy her prime obsession. EXTERNAL LINKS |
