SYNOPSIS


When Cole realizes that he must eventually give in to his evil destiny, he attacks the Charmed Ones in the hope that they will vanquish him forever and end his suffering. Meanwhile, Paige gets her first charge as a Whitelighter and is shocked when the angry, self-pitying man she is supposed to protect turns out to be the father she never knew.

  • The title of this episode is a play on words to the movie '' I Am Sam '' and the book series '' Green Eggs And Ham ''.

  • Another title used by The WB in advertisements was ''Daddy Dearest''.

  • This is the second appearance of the character Sam , who previously appeared in the episode '' P3 H2O ''.

  • Actress Niki Botelho , who plays the Elf Nanny, later reprises her role in the episodes '' Oh My Goddess, Pt 1 '', '' Oh My Goddess, Pt 2 '' and '' The Power Of Three Blondes ''.

  • Piper's baby, who is still in the womb, now creates a force field around Piper making her invulnerable.

  • Phoebe touches the Darklighter Arrow in this episode. In the season 1 episode '' Love Hurts '', Leo was not sure if the Darklighter arrows were poisonous to the sisters as well, so Prue needed to use her powers to remove it. Later in season 4's Charmed And Dangerous , Piper was able to touch the arrow the almost killed Leo. Paige, however, is half-whitelighter, so Piper did not allow her to touch the poisoned arrow.
