Sally Little was born in Cape Town , South Africa . Little became a member of the U.S. based LPGA Tour in 1971, when she was Rookie of the Year, and was still playing a limited schedule in 2005. Her best season was 1982, when she finished third on the money list. She has won 18 times on the tour, including two Major Championships , the 1974 Du Maurier Classic and the 1980 LPGA Championship .
