St-Sauveur, Quebec is a small city in the Laurentian Mountains about 45 mn north of Montreal . On September 11 , 2002 the city was created from the merger of Village de St-Sauveur-des-monts and Paroisse de St-Sauveur. It is known for its ski resort. Population is estimated 8,869 (City of St-Sauveur stats) and the village covers 48 km².
