Saint-Eustache is a city in western Quebec , west of Montreal on the southwestern end of the Rivière Des Mille-Îles . Population (2001 census) 40,378.

The city was founded in 1770 and incorporated in 1835 . {Link without Title}

A significant battle of the Lower Canada Rebellion was fought here on December 14 , 1837 ; the rebels were defeated and the town burnt.

The Autodrome Saint-Eustache hosts various stock-car racing, locals Drag Racing and others race competitions.
