For the British jet strike aircraft, see Blackburn Buccaneer The Brewster SB2A Buccaneer was a single-engined mid-wing monoplane scout bomber built for the US Navy . The initial order for the aircraft was placed in 1941 . Wright Cyclone 14 powered aircraft were supplied to the US Army Air Corps as the '''A-34'''. A version powered by a Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp engine was delivered to the Air Corps as the '''A-32'''. The RAF took delivery of some SB2A-1 under the terms of Lend-Lease where they were known as the Bermuda. They were used for trainig and target towing. Five of the Cyclone powered aircraft under model number '340' were supplied to the British Fleet Air Arm , for assessment. SPECIFICATIONS (SB2A-1 BUCCANEER)
