Arad is one of the founders of the Free Academy and editor with Joshua Simon of Maayan magazine Israeli periodical for poetry, literature, art and ideas. POETRY Arad's poems are written mostly in Kimo style (Hebrew Haiku ). His poem "The Owl" participated in the Venice Biannale 2003 with the work of Michal Helfman .
