Rosemary Harris

Rosemary Harris (born on September 19 , 1927 in Ashby , Suffolk , England ) is an Academy Award nominated English Actress and a member of the American Theatre Hall Of Fame .

Beyond her accomplished Broadway career, she is famous for her film role as May Parker in '' Spider-Man '' and '' Spider-Man 2 ''. She was also nominated for an Academy Award for the film '' Tom & Viv ''.

She has been married to American Writer John Ehle since 1967 and they have a daughter, U.S.-born actress, Jennifer Ehle .
