Information About

Rooster Teeth Productions

Rooster Teeth Productions is a production group from '', '' The Strangerhood '', and, more recently, the mini-series '' PANICS ''. The Rooster Teeth team originally operated a website called "Drunkgamers.com", where gameplay videos featuring Voice-overs would set the way for their future work. They became known for a one-minute spoof of an Apple Macintosh campaign advertisement in 2002 , a video that they later used to attract people to the launch of ''Red vs Blue'' when '' Computer Gaming World '' put the video on an included DVD .

TRIVIA

  • The name ''Rooster Teeth'' originates from a common insult in '' Red Vs Blue '', ''cockbite''. As such, the company logo consists of a silhoutte of a Rooster and a wind up chattering-teeth toy.

  • In every series Rooster Teeth has produced, a character has died within the first ten episodes (''Red vs Blue'' has gone the longest before a death in episode 8). In addition, there is a constant theme of Team-killing and the ability for characters to come back in another shape or form.

  • In '' Halo 2 '', one of the games used to film ''Red vs Blue'', a level downloadable from Xbox Live named Turf has two soda machines in it, one with an image of a rooster with a blue silhouette, and one with an image of teeth with a red silhouette. The silhouettes are those of the exact logo.
