Robert Morgan (''. Morgan later flew a second combat tour in the Pacific Theater , completing 25 missions over Japan commanding a B-29 bomber. Robert Morgan died at an airshow in 2004. While getting into a B-17 that had been painted with the "nose art" and other markings of the ''Memphis Belle'', he fell off the entry ladder and hit his head on the pavement.
