WINNER The only noteworthy achievement of Winner Lane, born in 1958 , is his Criminal Record - nearly three dozen arrests for Burglary , Domestic Violence , Trespassing , Resisting Arrest and other crimes. LOSER Loser Lane, born in 1961 , went to Prep School on a scholarship, graduated from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania , and joined the New York Police Department . He eventually advanced to become sergeant. Loser has a number of nicknames, because people are not comfortable using his real name. He is sometimes called Jimmy, James, Timmy or something else. Sometimes people pronounce his name differently, such as "Losier", trying not to offend, and his fellow policemen usually call him Lou. FAMILY The Lanes family lived in New York City , in a Housing Project in Harlem . Their first five children have normal Name s; it is unknown why Robert Lane, the father, chose to name his last two children Winner and Loser.
