(born August 10 , 1967 ) is a Boxer and former undisputed Heavyweight champion. He is most famous for his trilogy with Evander Holyfield . He was born in the same neighborhood as the more famous Mike Tyson . Bowe grew up in conditions of crushing poverty. All throughout his boxing career, people commented that he could have achieved far more. Bowe was often accused of being lax and immature in training. Bowe's bouts with Andrew Golota have often been called two of the most brutal in boxing. Bowe took a terrible beating in both but won because of Golata's foul tactics. Some have said he suffered severe brain damage in both. He has recently made a comeback, though many medical experts question whether he should be boxing. He is also the cousin of Elijah Bowe in Ann Arbor
