Richard Jonathan Fleeshman (born 12th February , 1989 ) is a British actor, most famous for his role in Soap Opera , '' Coronation Street ''. Richard Fleeshman is the son of television actor David Fleeshman and soap actress Sue Jenkins (who was also in The Street when pregnant with him). His sister, Emily Fleeshman , is also an actress. Richard has played the role of Craig Harris in Coronation Street since 2002. He was the only member of his on screen family to escape the axe in 2005 . Richard is also a singer. In 2003 , he won a '' Stars In Their Eyes '' celebrity special, impersonating singer Will Young . He also won Soapstar Superstar , a programme where soapstars sing against each other in order to win money for charity, in 2006 . Richard donated the £100,000 prize money to the Kirsty Appeal . Richard plays the piano and guitar. Unlike his Coronation Street character, he prefers guitar music to the heavy Goth music that Craig listens to in the show. On Sunday 22nd April he performed on ITV1 show an Audience with Coronation Street. He sang both with Andy who was runner up of Soapstar Superstar, and solo. He also played the piano. Richard is currently dating Roxanne Pallett - Emmerdale 's Jo Stiles who he met during Soapstar Superstar. |
