Region 10 includes most of Soweto . Soweto is a composite name, standing for '''So'''uth-'''We'''stern '''To'''wnships. So even this eastern region of it lies not to the south of central Johannesburg , but south of Florida . Its northern boundary is shared with Region 4 ( Northcliff ). On its longest stretch, in the west, the boundary seamlessly joins Region 10 to Region 6 (Soweto). On the east it is separated from Region 9 (Johannesburg South) by the Western Bypass of the N1 , and its southern neighbour is Region 11 (Ennerdale/Orange Farm). |
