Ravenna Park is a 49.9 acre Public Park in the Ravenna neighborhood of Seattle, Washington . It is contiguous to the west with Cowen Park in the Roosevelt neighborhood. Its major feature is the 35-meter-deep Ravine through which Ravenna Creek flows and which is traversed by the 20th Avenue NE Bridge, now closed to motorized traffic. The park is mostly forested with native Western Hemlock , Bigleaf Maple and Coast Douglas-fir . Nonindigenous trees include Coast Redwood and Western Larch . It has been public land since 1911 .
