Porto Cervo's Marina is prestigious. It is an exclusive summer destination where world famous faces may be seen strolling along the seafront and partying the night away. Once regarded as the Italian St Tropez, this small settlement has attracted many royals ,(this was one of the last holiday destinations of Princess Diana with Dodi Al FAyed, shortly before their accident), and most of the sorrounding land was actually bought by the Aga Khan.
