Philip Yancey





BIOGRAPHY

Yancey's father died when Philip was one year old after his church elders suggested he go off life support in faith that God would heal him. 1 After earning graduate degrees in Communications and English from Wheaton College Graduate School and the University of Chicago, Yancey joined the staff of ''Campus Life Magazine'' in 1971 where he served as Editor for eight years. 2

Yancey was for a period an editor for Christianity Today magazine and is now a columnist and editor-at-large. Yancey's works include
