Phil Parsons(born June 21 , 1957 in Detroit , Michigan ), is a former NASCAR driver. The younger brother of 1973 champion Benny Parsons he won his only Winston Cup race at Talladega in 1988 . Years later, he returned to the Busch Series , where he enjoyed modest success. He is now a commentator for SPEED TV 's coverage of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series .
