They were first signed to Capitol Records releasing their first album, ''I Love You'', in 1968. Both the album and the single "I Love You" made appearances in the charts, the single making the US Top 20. The band changed labels several times, releasing singles first with Capitol and then with Paramount. Two more albums were released the 2nd with Capital and the 3rd with Paramount. Achieveing no further success, the group disbanded in 1971. Norman has claimed that their 1968 debut album ''I Love You'' influenced Pete Townshend and The Who 's Concept Album '' Tommy ''.
