Pennino Brothers Jewelry was founded by Oreste Pennino in 1926 or 1927 in New York City . This costume jewelry displays fine workmanship, with the highest quality rhinestones set in sterling silver or thick gold plating. The designs are traditional and classic. The line stressed the "real look" in jewelry with elegant styles and floral motifs. The jewelry is marked "PENNINO" in script or sometimes with a patent pending mark. Highly desirable among collectors, Pennino jewelry is scarce and commands high prices. The company ceased operations in 1961 . |
