Peace Burial At Sea's sound has been compared with a host of bands, including ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead , Slint and Mogwai . The influence of "cocaine" era David Bowie has been mentioned, too. Abstract Electronica acts such as Aphex Twin have also helped shape their music, the band unafraid to venture into the use of synths and samplers as well as guitars. Their sound could be described as a fusion of Sci-fi , Rock and Electronics , with a clear post-rock emphasis and ethos. Somewhat claustrophobic, lurching wildly from sublime piano-led melancholy to malevolent scream-driven noise, PBAS rarely make for comfortable listening. They have released one album, entitled ''This is Such a Quiet Town'', which was released in 2003 on the Newcastle-based Mekong Delta (record Label) . It was re-released in 2004 on the Captains Of Industry label following the band's UK tour. In June 2005 , the band released their first promo video, for the track ''Eye-Heart Logic'', which can be accessed here. Following their summer tour and release of a single in August 2005 , PBAS announced the imminent release of their second album, ''Holy Terrors''. Peace Burial At Sea are:
