Parkdale is a , Victoria , Australia . It is located on the Frankston Line in the bayside suburb of Parkdale . It is 25 km from Flinders Street Station and in Metcard ticketing Zone 2. It is an unstaffed station, bypassed by some Peak Hour express trains. It has a total of two platforms, with Wooden station buildings on each platform. Each platform has a ticket machine (with a smaller Coin -only machine on the outbound side), and a Telstra Payphone is also located on the outbound side. There is a Garden Bed alongside the path thats leads to the citybound platform. Parkdale Station was first proposed in 1908 and opened on September 1 , 1919 .
