GEOGRAPHY Park Ridge is located at 44°31'12" North, 89°32'47" West (44.519996, -89.546338). According to the United States Census Bureau , the village has a total area of 0.6 Km&2 (0.2 Mi&2 ). 0.6 km&2 (0.2 mi&2) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water. DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census of 2000, there were 488 people, 211 households, and 147 families residing in the village. The Population Density was 856.4/km&2 (2,243.8/mi&2). There were 216 housing units at an average density of 379.1/km&2 (993.2/mi&2). The racial makeup of the village was 97.75% White , 0.20% African American , 0.00% Native American , 1.84% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 0.00% from Other Races , and 0.20% from two or more races. 0.82% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 211 households out of which 23.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.0% were Married Couples living together, 5.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.9% were non-families. 27.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.31 and the average family size was 2.83. In the village the population was spread out with 20.5% under the age of 18, 3.9% from 18 to 24, 21.7% from 25 to 44, 29.5% from 45 to 64, and 24.4% who were 65 years of age or older.
