Line 9 is one of the 16
Metro lines built in
Paris ,
France . The line links
Boulogne at the level of the Pont de Sèvres in Western Paris to
Montreuil in the East.
- The line 9 is inaugurated with a first portion between Exelmans and Trocadéro in the 16th Arrondissement .
- The line is extended from Trocadéro to Saint Augustin.
- The line is extended from Saint Augustin to Chaussée d'Antin.
- The line is extended southbound from Exelmans to Porte de St-Cloud.
- The line is extended from Chaussée d'Antin to Richelieu-Drouot.
- The line is extended from Richelieu-Drouot to Porte de Montreuil.
- The line is extended from Porte de St-Cloud to Pont de Sèvres.
- The line is extended from Porte de Montreuil to Mairie de Montreuil.
- Like many other stations, Saint-Martin is not served anymore because of the war. However, at the opposite of most other stations, it will finally be definitely closed.
- Rond-Point des Champs-Elysées is renamed as Marbeuf - Rond-Point des Champs-Elysées.
- Marbeuf - Rond-Point des Champs-Elysées is finally renamed as Franklin D. Roosevelt.
- Chaussée d'Antin is renamed as Chaussée d'Antin - La Fayette.
- Rue Montmartre is renamed as Grands Boulevards and Rue des Boulets - Rue de Montreuil is renamed as Rue des Boulets.
A two-station extension to
Montreuil-Mur-à-Pêches may be built in the future.
