Saskatchewan boundary, north of
Medicine Hat .

Since there are no other communities within quite a distance, it is the service centre for a large but sparsely populated
Dryland Farming area.
In the surrounding area

Canola are important crops, and
Beef Cattle are raised.
It has a

Grain Elevators , farm equipment dealerships, stores, a
Golf Course , a local
Museum , and a number of
Churches . The regional public high school is found here, and it has a small
