It is widely known as the home of the Shuttleworth Trust , an early organisation committed to the preservation of transport artifacts, primarily Cycle s, Car s, and Aeroplane s, produced in the early part of the 20th Century . The estate also has buildings and gardens of great beauty, and a small airfield from which some of the historic aircraft occasionally fly.
