Numan Gumaa, 70, works as an attorney in Cairo and is chairman of the liberal New Wafd Party , founded in 1919 and Egypt's oldest political party. He has been nominated in 2005 for presidental election and came on third place. He has been arrested in april 2006 for shootings in the Wafd Party.
