Norwood Junction railway station is in South Norwood in the London Borough Of Croydon in south London . It is in Travelcard Zone 4 , and the station and most trains are operated by Southern , with a few trains (one train per hour off peak in both directions) operated by Southeastern . There are plans to bring the East London Line service to the station. PLATFORMS There are 7 platforms at Norwood Junction but only 5 are in use today. Platform 1 provides services to London Bridge and London Victoria . Platform 2 shares the same track as Platform 1 so all services that stop at this platform only open their doors at Platform 1. This is why Platform 2 is now disused. Platform 3 is for faster services to London Bridge . Platform 4,5 and 6 are for services to Croydon and beyond. Platform 7 is now disused and it is likely that when the East London Line reaches this station it will use this platform. TYPICAL SERVICE The typical off-peak service from the station is as follows: Trains per Hour - tph Northbound
Southbound
