HISTORY Norths Devils are a Rugby League representing the northern suburbs of Brisbane , Australia . They compete in the Queensland Wizard Cup and were formed in 1927 as '''Past Grammars'''. With the introduction of district football to the Brisbane Rugby League in 1933 they changed their name to Northern Districts, and later onto Northern Suburbs. Their original home ground was Oxenham Park, Nundah, but moved to their current home ground, Bishop Park, in 19??, which is named after club stalwart Albert Bishop. In the 1990s they faced financial trouble like many other Brisbane Rugby League clubs, and were on the brink of extinction before National Rugby League newcomers Melbourne Storm became involved in a feeder club arrangement with Norths and poured in vital money. They won the 1998 Queensland Cup, defeating the Western Suburbs Panthers . Norths have won 12 A Grade, 15 Reserve Grade and 11 Colts/Third Grade Premierships. The team colours are sky blue, navy blue and gold. FAMOUS PLAYERS
