The North Shore Music Theatre or '''NSMT''', as it's called by locals, is a regional theatre in Beverly, Massachusetts , United States . Its most popular musical productions include '' West Side Story '', '' Phantom '', '' Kiss Me, Kate '' and a yearly production of '' A Christmas Carol ''. Yearly celebrity concerts are given by the likes of The Beach Boys , Linda Eder and Peter, Paul And Mary . The North Shore Music Theatre is a not for profit musical theatre that has been in operation since 1955. It is also one of the founding members of the National Alliance For Musical Theater . North Shore Music Theatre is the home of the "Academy of Music Theater" a music theater education program that offers classes, workshops, and private instruction year round. |
