Nob Hill Hotel is a 56 room boutique hotel in the affluent Nob Hill district of San Francisco near to the city's famous nightclub districts. Frommer's Review lists the hotel as the "Best for a Budget Romantic Rendezvous", and says it's the "best place to get all lovey-dovey without spending the big bucks."

Local musician and owner, Rudy Colombini who played in The Divine Comedy and plays with the Unauthorized Rolling Stones is a part of the thriving local nightlife of the area. Rudy toured with numerous musicians including the Beach Boys , the English Beat and Marshall Crenshaw . Rudy Colombini has been featured on both Universal and EMI records, was co-writer for the soundtrack of Francis Ford Coppola 's film Rumble Fish .

A long list of rock stars including George Clinton (funk Musician) , Joan Jet , and members of Train and The Monkees have stayed in the hotel for easy access to concerts on in nearby venues. Celebrities such as Nell Carter , Jonathan Winters , Jacqueline Bissett , and Mindy Cohen are spotted there regularly.

Several blocks from the hotel are a number of well-known musical venues including the American Music Hall . Its sister hotel, the Fitzgerald Hotel , is located the nearby Union Square (San Francisco) area. Also among his projects is Music City SF a recording studio and rehearsal space serving the thriving San Francisco Music Scene which is the location of the new San Francisco Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame .
