Nikki Wood is a Vampire Slayer from the Buffyverse . Not much is known about her, except that she was killed by Spike in New York, 1977, and that she was the mother of Robin Wood . Her Watcher was named Bernard Crowley . Crowley resigned from the Council and raised Robin after Nikki's death. She also had a Chinese-American boyfriend named Li, who was in the NYPD during her tenure as Slayer, who may or may not be Robin's father. Spike's trademark black leather trenchcoat originally belonged to her, until he took it from her corpse. April Weeden-Washington originally portrayed Nikki. When the character was brought back, April was unavailable, so actress K.D. Aubert portrayed Nikki Wood in the seventh season. This means Nikki is the only character (with the exception of Buffy) in the Buffyverse that has been portrayed by more than one actor, and the only one during the series run. ]] APPEARANCES IN BUFFYVERSE Canon appears in bold
