Nederland 3 is the third and youngest Dutch public net used by member-based non-profit broadcasting organizations ( Publieke Omroep ). It was established on April 4 , 1988 . Nederland 3 is the home channel of the VPRO , the VARA , the RVU and the NPS. The channel focuses on news, debate and culture. Before the evening, however, its programs are aimed at children.
