Information AboutNebraska (song) |
|
The song's lyrics are about Charles Starkweather , the Spree Killer who went on his spree in the Midwest in 1958 . However, many of the details in the song, such as the song's first two lines, "I saw her standing on her front lawn/ just a twirling her baton", are drawn from Terrence Malick's Badlands: a fictional interpretation of the Starkweather killings.
